Eating healthy for your hair

Eating healthy for your hair.

The importance of your eating habits and the way it can affect your hair should not be underestimated. It is a factor so often overlooked and underestimated. But it is so simple to put right.
Hair consists of protein, so eating sufficient amounts of protein is vital to strong, healthy hair.
For breakfast, it is not sufficient to have only fruit and cereal, however healthy they are. Add an egg or two or ham or bacon or fish such as old-fashioned kippers, and you could have the perfect breakfast.
Breakfast, incidentally, is the most important meal for your hair [and for you]. Your energy levels to your hair follicles are at their lowest first thing in the morning, and they need a boost.
The second most important meal for protein is lunch. There is no protein in a salad but if you add chicken, meat or fish to it, you have made a good hair lunch. If you are vegetarian, adding cottage cheese or a couple of eggs with the salad or fruit lunch would be needed.
Dinner is the least important meal for your hair, and it is here that you can indulge in any meal you fancy.
